Overview

The Vipps E-Payments integration allows customers to seamlessly complete payments using the Vipps mobile payment platform within the Sapera POS system.

This integration supports both test and*production environments and provides:

  • Fast and secure mobile payments
  • QR-based or phone-number-based customer identification
  • Webhook-based status updates for real-time tracking
  • Integrated refund handling and payment logs for transparency

Supported Environments

Vipps E-Payments is enabled in the following production environments:

  • prod2
  • prod3
  • prod5
  • prod6

All other environments operate in test mode by default.

Prerequisites

  • The Payments.Basic feature must be enabled on the tenant.
  • Proper API credentials from Vipps must be configured in the POS application.
  • Webhooks must be registered for receiving payment updates.

Integration Components

  • Financial App – Create and enable the Vipps payment method
  • POS App – Register Vipps agreements, sales units, and QR codes
  • Agent Profiles – Assign Vipps sales units and QR codes to sessions
